Violin Teacher Jobs In Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Piano Institute is Hiring
The Philadelphia Piano Institute is seeking an experienced violin instructor to work with students in our Bella Vista studio at 807 S. 8th Street. As one of the Greater Philadelphia area’s leading destinations for music lessons, we enjoy helping children, teens, and adults become competent and well-rounded musicians. Beginners, hobbyists and advanced violinists alike are welcome to enroll in our community of students.
About Our Mission
We help our students find confidence and artistic fulfillment through the violin. From children to retired adults, we care about helping them reach their goals. Some students come to us because they can’t sight read, while others want to polish audition material or learn to play pop songs on their instrument of choice. Our holistic approach, which includes reading, technique, basic music theory, interpretation, and more, can help students succeed in any number of disciplines and genres.
In short,
We help students reach their goals, not our goals
We believe that friendly and supportive teacher-student rapport is incredibly important
We believe that good teachers can be flexible with curriculum, repertoire, and other teaching materials to better suit a student’s needs
What We Look For In Our Violin Instructors
In General
Firstly, instructors at the Philadelphia Piano Institute have equal enthusiasm for lessons with adults and pre-college students. We have a community of students from many walks of life, and we love the diversity.
Secondly, our teachers sincerely care about their students’ success and well-being. We prioritize a professional, friendly and approachable teaching style that makes students feel welcome.
Third, we appreciate the individual goals of our students. Some may want to learn how to fiddle while others want to learn Samuel Barber, and we are equally happy with both.
